purpose economy

Coming towards an economy not solely for economic capital or an information economy, but going towards an economy of needs and needs within purpose.

> experience (i.e. in shopping)

People's quest to purpose; personal growth, relations and experiences.

Finance, education, health care > all a need for purpose. Examples are given in this video: Google, working with the needs and the search for purpose of their consumers and employees.

Purpose economy > localized, move away from consumption towards creation, conspicuous consumption of i.e. experience. Purpose economy gives back to the community: helping schools & education > _creating_ i.e. playgrounds.

Kids (i.e. in the Netherlands) have to choose their purpose quite early on, they need to choose their courses in order what they want to achieve and need for their future job > but isn't, for instance, 14 way too young to know your purpose?

Shouldn't finding your purpose need more time, via education and attention towards the student in their educational road?

Waarom basisscholen in Rotterdam?

1) om sneller in contact te kunnen komen met de doelgroep op geografisch gebied gezien
2) de verscheidenheid van scholen binnenin een stad; vanuit ervaring is er in een dorp vaak 1 à 2 basisscholen

Dit zijn verschillende vormen van cultural probes die wij zouden kunnen gebruiken; toolkits, 'ga maar iets uitproberen', aangeven van emoties.
